Scalix 11.3 builds on the strong version 11 of the Scalix platform, and offers many exciting and powerful benefits:
- MS Outlook 2007 Support - Use the Scalix MAPI connector with Outlook 2007 to provide your Premium Users with the full groupware functionality of the Scalix Server.
- Outlook Over SSL - Eliminate the need for Users to manage complex VPN connections when using MS Outlook from home or on the road. Scalix 11.3 supports secure Outlook connections with an encrypted SSL connection.
- CalDAV-Enabled - View and manage your Scalix calendar from any CalDAV enabled calendar application, including Apple iCal and Mozilla Sunbird and Lightning.
- Scalix Web Access (SWA) Performance Optimization - Enjoy increased performance of Scalix's award-winning AJAX-based Web client. SWA has also been improved to better handle additional spell checker dictionaries.
- Improved Asian Character Set Support - While Scalix already supports international, multi-byte and Asian character sets, Scalix 11.3 now provides auto-detection for character sets where the message is not tagged with correct character set information. Additionally, support for vendor-specific extensions to Japanese character sets is now provided. Furthermore, outbound message formats are now optimized for better compatibility with legacy email systems as commonly used in Japan and throughout the far east.
