Scalix Enterprise Edition comes pre-configured on the Xandros Server, available from Scalix partner Xandros. The Xandros and Scalix products are a great combination for small and medium businesses as both offer power without complexity. Scalix Xandros Edition provides a powerful and easy-to-use alternative to a Windows-based messaging system. An all-in-one groupware solution, it is quick and easy to deploy. Scalix Xandros Edition includes the advanced features of our flagship Enterprise Edition, including TNEF support for Exchange interoperability, optional support for wireless email and PIM via NotifyLink, and the optional Scalix Migration Tool for automated migration of user data.

Consolidated system monitoring and workflow automation

The Xandros Server, built on top of Debian Linux, provides consolidated system monitoring and workflow automation to address issues normally encountered when administering small and medium IT systems. It presents a simplified, centralized approach to remotely administering users and services through the all-graphical Xandros Management Console (xMC). Xandros Server provides a unique plug-in architecture that enables Scalix administration to be integrated within xMC, so the Scalix software can be managed just like any other Xandros service. It is compatible with any existing Windows domain and networking infrastructure, offering a plug-and-play replacement to Windows servers.

Scalix Xandros Edition includes five Premium User licenses. Scalix Xandros Edition is included on the Xandros Server and can be purchased directly from Xandros Additional Premium User licenses can be purchased from the Xandros online store.
