Scalix 11 is not translated into chinese. We do support chinese character sets throughout the product.

We want to provide chinese localization as well at some point, however, haven't set a target date for this.

Now i have installed Scalix 11 RC2 on the Red hat 4 and have some test.
I think that the Scalix 11 is a great product.
I want to translate Scalix 11 into chinese (webmail.....).
How to finish it?
Could you give me some tips?

Thank you very much.

please check out the localization instructions on the Scalix Wiki (www.scalix.com/wiki). We'll also soon be providing an exchange space where people interested in translations can upload their files.

Cheers,

Why my strings_xx.xml and string_xx_XX.xml are located at : "/var/opt/scalix/ml/tomcat/webapps/webmail/WEB-INF/data" rather than at : "/opt/scalix-tomcat/webapps/webmail/WEB-INF/data" ?

I stop scalix-tomcat and put the strings_zh.xml and strings_zh_CN.xml at :
"/var/opt/scalix/ml/tomcat/webapps/webmail/WEB-INF/data" and start scalix-tomcat.
I modify the option of the users and login into SWA.
But i can not see the chinese characters.

Could you give me some suggestion?

Thanks.

good catch. the pathnames have changed with Scalix 11 RC2 and the doc hasn't been updated.

Have you edited your file with a UTF-8 clean editor? Sorry, won't have much time to test this right now as we're too busy getting Scalix 11 Final Release out of the door....

Thanks Florian.

Now i can see the chinese characters. Maybe i edited my file without a UTF-8 clean editor.

I think it is well that you can explain the directories of the Scalix 11 RC2.

When will you release the Scalix 11 Final Release?

Thanks.
