Outlook freezes, when sending mail or create/edit an object

Hello Everyone!

I have a very annoying problem with Outlook an SCALIX Connect on my new desktop.

Everytime I try to send a new mail or try to create a task, edit a note or something else my outlook freezes. I only can kill outlook. After restarting outlook i find the mail i tried to send in my outbox, but when i try to send the mail again, outlook freezes the next time.

This is the error message in the "scalixmail.log":

I scanned my Inbox on the server for errors or inconsistencies, but it didn't change anything.

I also removed the outlook profile and created a new one, but nothing changed (after deleting the profile through the control panel applet i also deleted the scalix directories in my home directory).

Im running Scalix Server 10.0.1.4 on Debian Sarge, but I don't think that it's a problem on the server side.
On the client side WinXP SP2 with Outlook 2003 with SP2.

On my laptop and the old desktop i don't have this stupid problem.

What can I do? I need my Outlook! Please help me.

I see the same problem on my laptop now. Outlook freezes when i try to send a mail and i only can kill Outlook.
In the logfile i see exactly the same message.

Maybe the problem is still on the server side?

Hi!

I updated Scalix Connect to version 10.0.0.366 (i have no IE7 or IE7 Beta installed; Firefox rules!) now, but less changed. Outlook still freezes and can only be killed.

BUT: I discovered one new aspect (don't know if it has something to do with the updated Connect):
After restarting Outlook I see the mail in the outbox. When i open this mail and press "Send", the mail is sent properly. Why this?

What does this mean and what can i do? Seems to be a problem on the server side.

I tried omcontain and checked some parts of the mailcontainer on the server, but i didn't find any errors. I also tried " sxfixdref -f " but no wrong references were found.

Does nobody know anything about the strange problems?

Hi there,

any third-party modules installed? I got a strange Problem when trying to enable GnuPG encryption in Outlook. Disabaling the modules worked.
