Unfortunately, this is pretty normal.
When importing data via IMAP (assume this is what you did), the system will (a) store the original imported message in MIME format (to preserve in case It's needed again) and (b) also break down the message into Scalix-internal format for opimized Outlook access, etc., therefore use of double diskspace right after the migration is something that is possible for this very reason.
It will not happen for emails that are sent/received from this moment on, though.
