Deleted Items

My deleted items are being deleted by themselves. I have it set to warn me before permanently deleting items.

The only deleted items I have are from this week...

The items are being deleted because the Deleted Items folder has a retention policy of (by default) 1 day.

Right click on the Deleted Items folder and select properties. Click the "AutoDelete" tab and change the value to something else ( in days ).
