Brisk Technovision to Double Email Hosting by Migrating to Scalix
Scalix adoption opens new markets to major Indian hosting provider
NEW YORK, NY / Mumbai, INDIA—June 2, 2009 — Scalix today announced that India’s Brisk Technovision Pvt. Ltd., a leading IT company in Mumbai, is migrating 25,000 hosted mailboxes to Scalix software. Brisk Technovision provides email services for more than 50 hosting providers with more than 200 domains. They previously employed a tailor-made, Linux-based Postfix email solution using Squirrelmail/Qmail and MySQL database for small business and corporate clients, which came to hinder the flourishing hosting company’s fast paced growth. The technology move enables Brisk Technovision to upgrade existing customers to the feature-rich Scalix Web Access client for group calendaring and shared folders. It also enables them to tap new markets for hosted replacements for Microsoft Exchange and Lotus Domino, with an expected doubling of mailboxes served over the coming year.
