Commtouch and Scalix Collaboration Brings Real Time Messaging Security to Linux-based E-mail Servers
New Scalix Release Incorporates Commtouch Anti-Spam and Zero-Hour Virus Outbreak Protection Technologies

Sunnyvale, Calif., and New York, NY – May 13, 2008 – Scalix, a Linux e-mail, calendaring and messaging company and Commtouch® (NASDAQ: CTCH) today announced the signing of an OEM licensing agreement to bring real time Scalix AntiSpam and Scalix ZeroHour AntiVirus protection to the Scalix messaging platform.
The new features provide an additional layer of e-mail security to Scalix customers, using Commtouch's Recurrent Pattern DetectionTM technology. Scalix e-mail servers, which recently won InfoWorld’s award for best open source application for mail and collaboration, are sold to companies of all sizes through resellers and distributors worldwide. Scalix AntiSpam and Scalix ZeroHour AntiVirus, powered by Commtouch, will be available options for the Small Business, Enterprise, and Hosting editions of Scalix 11.4, slated to debut at the end of May.
